Travis Scott just released a new Nike collection
Travis Scott’s Nike collaboration, initially delayed due to the Astroworld tragedy, is finally out.
It dropped unexpectedly on Friday afternoon. The Houston rapper simply posted on his Instagram Stories, detailing the time and date. It will only be available online and is available for purchase via Scott’s official site.
The collection includes two pairs of shoes that will be sold by raffle, as well as $400 jackets, a $200 vest and a $125 t-shirt. A $140 high says it has a “POCKET DESIGNED TO BLOCK SIGNALS TO/FROM CELL PHONE”.
Nike postponed its Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack 2022 collaboration right after the Astroworld concert which left several people dead and hundreds injured.
Scott gave his first public performance since Astroworld earlier this month at the Billboard Music Awards. Show host Diddy said he had “demanded” that “my brother Travis Scott should perform”. Scott is featured on the song “Hold That Heat” with Southside and Future and is said to be preparing his next album, “Utopia”.
